No account is needed. Once a price is agreed by email, you choose how to pay:
We invoice you as Any-Web Limited. The invoice carries Confirmation-of-Payee-matched account details, and for larger sums we confirm them with you by phone before you send anything.
An independent third party holds your money until the name has been transferred to you. Escrow fees (roughly 1 to 2.5%) are borne by you as the buyer.
If you prefer, the sale can be completed through Sedo’s transfer service, which handles both payment and the hand-over for a fee. Tell us in your offer and we set it up there.
Whichever you choose, the change of registrant is made at the official .uk registry once payment has cleared, usually within one working day. We then transfer it to the registrar of your choice; we do not hold names for buyers.
